An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is needed when a new building is constructed or when an existing buildings is marketed for sale or rent. An EPC enables you to consider energy efficiency and potential energy costs. EPCs are also needed for buildings with multiple tenancies and let for different uses, with a mixture of retail, office and/or residential accommodation.
WHY DO YOU NEED EPC IN LONDON?
When leasing, building, or selling a Residential or Commercial Property, Landlords and Property Owners in England & Wales are obligated to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) to any potential buyer or renter. All homes are now required to have an EPC throughout the building phase.
An EPC will need to be performed on all residential and commercial properties that are up for sale or rent. The energy efficiency of the building is rated on a scale from A to G, and the rating potential is indicated. This will help lower CO2 emissions.
An energy performance certificate will grade a home’s energy efficiency from A to G. The residences in band A should have the lowest fuel costs because they are the most energy-efficient.
Before the property is put on the market, an EPC that is good for ten years must be in place. It will be necessary to submit a fresh report or an updated epc if any modifications are made to the thermal elements during that period.
We are able to provide you a low-cost EPC as the EPC division of a reputable property services firm because of our economies of scale and the magnitude of our operations. Similar to how huge supermarkets may charge lower costs to their consumers without sacrificing quality, we can give you a low-cost EPC without sacrificing our service or the EPC report’s quality. Both our clients and our workers are valued by us. We don’t provide incentives to jam in as many inexpensive EPCs as we can each day, and we only employ properly licenced and insured DEAs to do EPC evaluations. This, in our opinion, is the proper way to do business and makes both clients and staff pleased.
